Anton is heading to Berlin for the EFM to launch its own world sales slate next week which includes action thriller, Fuze. Aaron Taylor Johnson (Nosferatu), and Theo James (Netflix series “The Gentlemen”) star in the pic which just wrapped filming in London and is in post-production.
The sales firm will further unveil a new sales promo for buyers on the new pic which reunites Taylor-Johnson with David Mackenzie (Outlaw King), who directs from a script from Ben Hopkins (Inside). Fuze sets off in London with the discovery of an unexploded WWII bomb on A construction site, ensuing mass evacuation and providing a perfect cover for serious, organised crime.
Also starring are Sam Worthington (Avatar franchise), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Disney+’s “Loki”), Elham Ehsas (Showtime’s “Homeland”), Honor Swinton-Byrne (A24’s The Souvenir), and Saffron Hocking (Netflix’s “Top Boy”).
Anton has currently sold the rights to Fuze to the following territories and labels: Garsu Pasaulio Irasai (GPI) for the Baltics; The Searchers for Benelux; VVS Films for Canada, Australia and New Zealand; Arna Media for CIS/Russia; MediaSquad for Eastern Europe; SND for France; Square One for Germany and Switzerland; Feelgood Entertainment for Greece; PVR for India; PT Prima Cinema for Indonesia; Forum Film for Israel; Leone Film Group for Italy; Sun Distribution Group for Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and South Africa; Salim Ramia & Co for the Middle East; Nordisk Film for Scandinavia; Ukrainian Film Distribution (UFD) for Ukraine and Echo Lake Distribution for Airlines. The firm previously announced that Sky had picked up the action-thriller for theatrical release in the U.K. and Ireland.
Gillian Berrie (Outlaw King, Tetris) produced the film for Sigma Films next to Sébastien Raybaud (The End We Start From, Greenland) and Callum Grant (Jackdaw, Cleaner) for Anton, which also finances the pic, and are co-repping with UTA Independent Film Group and WME Independent for the U.S. rights with Anton.
“Fuze is an expertly crafted thriller with a stellar British cast led by the superb Aaron Taylor Johnson and Theo James.
