Taiwanese filmmaker Xu Hong Hui‘s latest action thriller, Ameera, is hitting the cinemas in China on April 4, 2014, centered on a female agent who sets out to prevent a terrorist attack after failing her last mission. While there doesn’t seem to be much else to the premise, we do get a batch of stills and a fresh new trailer below which may or may not be self-descriptive depending on your knowledge of the film itself. We also get a glimpse of actress Patricia Hu back on the big screen with international action actor and co-star of The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions and Well Go USA’s latest release of Special ID, Collin Chou, headlining the film in classic kicking action since their late 2013 appearance in Angel Warriors.
Ameera also brings its cast together with The Man With The Iron Fists co-stars Byran Leung and Andrew Lin, with Ambrose Hsu, Paul Chun, Cao Yang, Tony An, Amanda Tan, Han Jun, Sun Liang, Hou Xu, and Shellly Yu.
