Sony Pictures has a new action featurette in promotion for the upcoming thriller from director Roland Emmerich, White House Down. Catch lead action hero Channing Tatum with actors Jamie Foxx and Jason Clarke as you explore the nature of the film’s pivotal action sequences that involve their own share of heavy-handed fists, kicks and vehicular warfare, and even heavier artillery.
SYNOPSIS:
Starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Richard Jenkins and James Woods, the Columbia Pictures release follows Capitol Policeman John Cale (Tatum), who has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.
