Halle Berry Puts The Pedal To The Metal In The New Trailer For KIDNAP

Atress Halle Berry’s return to the big screen is literally packed with some exciting “hail mary” moments. That’s sort of the impression we’re left with regarding some of the thrilling moments of stuntwork on the set of Kidnap from Luis Prieto which is finally releasing on December 2 from Relativity Media following its delay from earlier this year.

Berry, who also produces, leads the cast with a script by Knate Gwaltney which centers on a mother’s relentless high-speed pursuit of a mysterious car with her son inside. USA Today discusses all this and more, and much to the credit of the stunt professionals with Berry in the driver’s seat.

“There’s a lot of Halle driving here, but that really crazy driving, we left to the professionals,” says producer di Bonaventura over at USA Today. “She can kick serious butt out of the car.” Other moments talked about include Berry’s “firey” enthusiasm for the project dating back to 2014, as well as her own “Schwarzenegger moment” with a shovel, her character speeding in reverse down the Louisiana’s Huey P. Long Bridge, and the stunt chaos which included real cars.
At any rate a sick and enthralling affair, and it’s all available to sample in USA Today’s exclusive coverage which also invites a look at the very first trailer. Young actor Sage Correa, and actors Lew Temple and Chris McGinn also star.
