HE NEVER DIED, But Henry Rollins Needs Your Help On Indiegogo

Former 80’s punk band Black Flag member, radio host, author and overall multihyphenate, actor Henry Rollins has been at it the last few years with his forthcoming role in The Briefcase helmer Jason Krawczyk‘s new hyper-violent horror comedy, He Never Died. Filming began back in 2013 with a script from Krawczyk which centers on Rollins as a cannibal with a seemingly prolonged lifespan, whose life as a depressed loner is shaken when his past comes back in the form of a daughter he hadn’t seen in years.

The red-band trailer is officially out following the film’s acquisition by Vertical Entertainment back in May with rave reviews stemming from its premiere at SXSW in the Spring early this year. Plans also include to extend this into an eight-episode series which looks absolutely pleasing with tons of potential….but, first things first, as the new NSFW trailer welcomes a brand new crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo hosted by Rollins and the production to help branch out the film’s release as much as possible in terms of all aspects of quality with respect to the film’s vision, and its presentation in the way it was intended.
SYNOPSIS:

When you find yourself living forever, sure, the first 200, even 300 years might be one grand ball of parties and fornication, But who among us would stay interested after the first 1,000 years, let alone the first 10,000.

And that is where we find Jack, An immortal cannibal detached from humanity.

Depression and severe anti-social behavior has whittled down Jack’s existence to sleeping and watching television. Seeing the human race as little more than meat with a pulse, Jack has no interest to bond with anyone. There’s little purpose for him to make friends with someone he’d eventually eat or outlive by more than a millennia. The fuse is lit when Jack’s past comes back to rattle him. Jack must now walk a tight rope of sobriety and try to eat as few people as possible in this violent tale of personal responsibility. As it turns out, there are very few reasons to live when you can’t die.

Boo Boo Stewart, Kate Greenhouse, Jordan Todosey, and Steven Ogg also star for the film’s expected release date this December. BUT, for all intents and purposes, the indiegogo may be exactly what we need to help set this in stone, the usual awesome perks in exchange for your generosity notwithstanding.
