HENRY Taps 'Harry Brown' Scribe For His Directorial Debut

Writer Gary Young will make his directorial debut with the new thriller Henry. The film, which London-based Starline Entertainment has picked up with Nice One Film, is described as a stylish, modern-day noir thriller that will focus on the story of an assassin’s son desperately seeking to escape his destiny.

Young, the recent author of Scar Comics’s two-volume 2010/2011 graphic novel, “Madam Samurai”, is best known for penning films like Scott Mann’s roaring 2009 action thriller, The Tournament and Daniel Barber’s 2010 vigilante thriller, Harry Brown starring Michael Caine. Shantelle Rochester-Henry and Nancy Bressolles are producing Henry for Nice One Film, along with Gearshift Films’s Jordan Barker and Borga Dorter, and will develop and package for international sales this year with Starline representing.
