It Ain’t Over ‘Til Tom Cruise Says So In The New MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT Trailer

If the last Mission: Impossible installment proved nothing else, it proved that one of Paramount’s biggest franchises can deliver on even bigger terms each time. Now six films in with Mission: Impossible – FALLOUT, the latest chapter has more than revealed itself to be another highly anticipated sequel.
The fact that its star, Tom Cruise, continues to delve further into death-defying stunts and to the point of injuring himself in the process speaks highly to how far he’ll go to entertain audiences. Whether or not the spectacle takes in a film that measures with critical approval remains to be seen, while in fairness, Christopher McQuarrie directed its predecessor themed Rogue Nation, which became the best in the series by far. Throw in Henry Cavill with cinema’s most infamous mustache – queuing the likelihood of another hilarious “Honest Trailers” jab from the cats at Screen Junkies and rest assured, this film is pretty much selling itself.

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. “MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT” finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise – “Top Gun,” “American Made,” “The Mummy”) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin – “Saturday Night Live,” “The Boss Baby,” “Beetlejuice,” Simon Pegg – “Star Trek,” “Ready Player One,” Ving Rhames – “Pulp Fiction,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson – “The Greatest Showman,” ”The Girl on the Train,” Michelle Monaghan – “The Bourne Supremacy,” “The Heartbreak Kid”) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.  Henry Cavill (“Justice League,” “Man of Steel”), Angela Bassett (“Black Panther,” “American Horror Story”), and Vanessa Kirby (“Me Before You,” “The Crown”) also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie (“Jack Reacher”) returning to the helm.

I needed to sleep as well as most of the humans in my timezone, and so I wasn’t able to post about this at 3:00am EST when the new official trailer went live. Alas, I’m posting it now and if you’re just now catching on, by all means, check it out below!
