Jason Statham Deals A Deadly Hand In The New Trailer For WILD CARD

Who wants to see another Jason Statham movie?! Well you needn’t look further than the action star and producer’s new crime thriller, Wild Card, pitting him against Las Vegas’s criminal underworld where his skills as a former Marine comes quite handy! The film is inspired by award-winning author William Goldberg’s 1985 novel, Heat, and a reboot of the previous film that followed with Statham lending his own touch to a character handed down by its predecessor, actor Burt Renyolds, and will undoubtely serve as an excellent Statham vehicle for fans looking to see the bonafide action hero hold his own on the big screen once again.

SYNOPSIS:

Nick Wild (Jason Statham) is a Las Vegas bodyguard with lethal professional skills and a personal gambling problem. When a friend is beaten by a sadistic thug, Nick strikes back, only to find out the thug is the son of a powerful mob boss. Suddenly Nick is plunged into the criminal underworld, chased by enforcers and wanted by the mob. Having raised the stakes, Nick has one last play to change his fortunes…and this time, it’s all or nothing.

Stanley Tucci, Sofía Vergara, Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Angarano and Anne Heche round out the cast with a script by Goldman and action direction by Corey Yuen (The Transporter, Rise Of The Legend) and choreography by Brad Martin (Safe, Homefront) and Ron Yuan (Black Salt, Black And White 2). Statham is producing under his SJ Heat Productions, LLC banner with Steve Chasman, and reunites with The Expendables 2 and The Mechanic helmer Simon West who directs.
