Jennifer Lawrence Is The Girl On Fire In The New International Trailer For THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE

We now have another new international trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The film is directed by Francis Lawrence who replaces Gary Ross from the first film released last year.

Briefly picking up where The Hunger Games left off, Catching Fire sees actress and X-Men: Days Of Future Past co-star Jennifer Lawrence and actor Josh Hutcherson as the reigning champions of the 74th annual Hunger Games, which takes them on a victory tour through the districts of Panem, where a rebellion continues to brew day by day. Meanwhile, behind the curtains are the President and the Gamemaker as they prepare the next competition, “The Quarter Quell”, while conspiring against the peoples’ heroine in the hopes of suppressing the masses even more.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie, despite not having read any of Suzanne Collins’ novels. But I do look forward to Catching Fire when it comes out in standard and IMAX theaters on November 22, 2013.

SYNOPSIS:

Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
