It’s officially lift-off for the campaign of director Dimitri Logothetis’s reboot sequel, Kickboxer: Retaliation, following the reboot that launched debut actor and stuntman Alain Moussi into career succession. Further along with the return of Jean-Claude Van Damme, our star is now joined by a meaty line-up of athletes lining up the cast roster led by none other than celebrity former heavyweight champion-turned-actor Mike Tyson, and towering actor and bodybuilder Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson.
One year after finding vengeance for his murdered brother, MMA champion Kurt Sloane finds himself back in Thailand – kidnapped and imprisoned there by a powerful gangster (Christopher Lambert). His only shot at freedom is to win an underground death match against a 400lb killer enhanced with state-of the-art drugs (Game of Thrones’ Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson).
