Ivan White is penning the script for a story that centers on Daisy (Linch), a young woman who inherits a spooky old estate in America from her grandfather, a martial arts master whom she had never met. When she arrives to the U.S. and shows up on the property, she soon discovers the house is haunted by her grandfather’s spirit and the ghost of a mysterious man named William (Sargent). When treasure-hunting criminals descend on Daisy’s new home, she is forced to call on her new supernatural friends to fend them off.
“There hasn’t been a supernatural romantic martial arts comedy of this kind for the last forty years, so I need to make one so I can watch it. Because that’s what I want to watch.” says Linch, who also announced her new project on KTNV last week. She also disclosed her previous training in various styles with her current activities now in Taekwondo.
Robert Brooke Eldridge will produce the new film with Jerome Dolbert serving as director of photography, and with Shane Alexander and Jason Q. Truong handling the stunts and supervising the action, respectively.
Linch serves as the CEO of her own independent company, Nameless Pictures, where she’s won numerous awards for her shortfilms, including The Dream and Flowers Of The Night.
