LE VISITEUR DU FUTUR: François Descraques’s Webseries Brainchild Gets The Feature Film Treatment With Key Art And A Fall 2022 Release

This September will mark the latest and biggest move in film for author and creator François Descraques, since galvanizing fans for the webseries and novel that inspired it in the last twelve years-plus.

For this, we get a glimpse of what’s to come in the first look still and official poster ink for sci-fi comedy, Le Visiteur Du Futur, or The Visitor From The Future for the French-impaired like myself. As for said ‘Visiteur’, that would be actor Florent Dorin who reprises his role once more from the webseries.

Alice is a young woman opposed to the construction of a power-plant, an idea of her own father who is a member of the parliament. But a weird Visitor from the Future takes her to 2555, a future destroyed by the explosion of that same power-plant.

According to the Visiteur, the premature death of her father would prevent this future from happening. But they’ll have to be quick because the Future Police is hunting them down so they don’t alternate their timeline! Alice must achieve the impossible: save her world and save her father.

Distribution outlet KMBO released the poster last week following the debut of a first look still from the film a week prior, which you can see atop the page. The still features Dorin back in character, and joined by co-stars Arnaud Doucret, Enya Baroux and Raphaël Descraques, and as you might guess, the first official key art comes in a few different shapes and sizes.
