I can’t say that the beneath artwork for director Timothy Woodward Jr.’s latest direct-to-DVD prospect, Decommissioned, isn’t exactly misleading. It is. But Lionsgate does present an otherwise decent trailer for the film from the director who brought you recent titles like 4Got10 and Weaponized, which starred actor Johnny Messner, and as he also does in this one which opens on DVD, Digital HD and VoD on December 6.
Vinnie Jones and Estella Warren bring to life this white-knuckle action-thriller. Retired CIA agent John Niles’s quiet life is shattered when he’s kidnapped and tortured one night to reveal his part in an upcoming mission. With his wife (Warren) and son held captive, Niles is forced to take part in a presidential assassination, so he turns to his old mentor Price (Jones) to uncover the CIA’s covert role in this dark operation.
Also starring are, of course, Vinnie Jones of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Escape Plan and Snatch fame, actress Estella Warren and actor James Remar. Check out the trailer below!
