[UPDATED] LUC VAN TIEN: TUYET DINH KUNGFU: Andy Long Nguyen Debuts Martial Arts Action And Thrills In The Official Trailer!

From the start, martial artist and career stuntman Andy Long Nguyen’s two-and-a-half decade long journey has seen him round up a neat morsel of memories both off-set and on. He documented plenty of them in a tribute reel made for friends and fans of the work he performs in general, and humbly in the graces of his biggest collaborator, action cinema legend and film icon Jackie Chan.

Nguyen discussed this and much more in our interview closing out 2016, in addition to his other goal which was to star as the lead in his own film. Such is the case with the new martial arts adventure comedy from director Hoàng Phúc titled Lục Vân Tiên: Tuyệt Đỉnh Kungfu, which sees Long as an ancient warrior on a trepidating search for his lost love – a search that ultimately ensues some full-fledged martial arts battles designed by Nguyen and an alluring team of martial artists and stunt performers, namely that of Germany-based team Young Masters and California’s own Martial Club.
The first two teasers arrived in late 2016 while a full trailer is now making the arounds ahead of its Vietnamese New Year release on January 28. More regional than not, the film certainly has its local appeal granted its packaging plays to the prime tune and quality thus deserving of its budding star. The action is on full display and doesn’t let up for a single second in this trailer and hopefully this will get a decent market release stateside.

Make no mistake. Nguyen’s hard work speaks for itself and he and the cast here have earned their shot.
