Luke Evans Stands Tall In The New Poster For DRACULA UNTOLD

Anyone looking for a good Halloween thriller to catch in theaters later this year can fret no more, thanks to the upcoming release of helmer Gary Shore‘s directorial debut, Dracula Untold. Written by The Gods Of Egypt scribes Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, the film is based on original characters created by late gothic horror novelist Bram Stoker and stars Luke Evans in the lead role of what is tentativly described as an origin story of Vlad Tepes the man who became Dracula.

The film will also reportedly add some history to its mythological lining, detailing the story surrounding the legendary fifteenth century prince who was posthumously nicknamed “Vlad the Impaler”, due to the notorious cruelty he inflicted on his enemies. Universal Pictures is releasing the film on October 17. In the meantime, check out the new poster below and await further updates!
