It’s by the good graces of the powers that be that a select few of Japanese titles manage to find their route to big screens beyond borders, and there’s no arguing against this when it comes to the long and enduring fan fervor that is director Higuchi Shinji‘s forthcoming August 1 release of the live-action movie, Attack On Titan. The film is set to arrive as a two-part epic with the second part coming on September 19, and with New Zealand/Australia distributor Madman getting their share of the action all the same with a limited run for the first film on August 27, they’ve just unveiled the official poster which you can observe for yourself below.
SYNOPSIS:
100 years ago, titans suddenly appeared on Earth. Soon, human civilization veered on collapse due to the titans. Humans then built a giant wall to defend themselves. Within the giant walls, humans lived in peace, but, 100 years later, the giant wall is broken.
