Travis Knight’s Masters Of The Universe is getting a snazzy home release this October in 4K UHD, Blu-Ray and DVD, as well as Steelbook with exclusives now available via pre-order through Amazon. This comes as the film is now available to stream on Prime Video following its theatrical release back in June from Amazon MGM Studios, based on the classic Mattel property.

After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Nicolas Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Jared Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba) and embrace his true destiny as He-Man – the most powerful man in the universe.
Masters Of The Universe had its theatrical debut earlier this year on June 5th, 2026 and grossed $113 million internationally. With an 86% Popcornmeter on Rotten Tomatoes, critics are calling the film “The He-Man movie fans have waited decades for” (Chris Brumbray, JOBLO), packed with “Vibrant, thrills-a-minute action” (Tom Power, TECHRADAR).
Masters Of The Universe written by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham, directed by Travis Knight and stars Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Kristen Wiig, Jared Leto, and Idris Elba.
