McG’s Netflix Alien Invasion Thriller RIM OF THE WORLD Casts Dean S. Jagger

Netflix’s advances in original content now span with McG’s own forthcoming alien invasion sci-fi, Rim Of The World. As Amanda N’Duka reported on Friday, actor Dean S. Jagger (Corbin Nash) is tapped to star in the film which began production a month ago in Los Angeles.

Four misfit teenagers become unlikely allies when their summer camp experience is cut short by an alien invasion. In this epic adventure film, the youths must overcome their fears, tackle insecurities, and learn to work as a team while they attempt to save the world.

Jagger, whose credits also include season six of HBO hit series, Game Of Thrones, and upcoming Cinemax martial arts series drama, Warrior, are Jack Gore (The Kids Are Alright, Billions), Miya Cech (The Darkest Minds), Benjamin Flores Jr. (Game Shakers (TV), Transformers: The Last Knight), Alessio Scalzotto (Genius: Picasso), King Bach (aka Andrew Bachelor) (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, The Babysitter, When We First Met), Tony Cavalero (The Dirt, School of Rock (TV)), Musician/Entertainer Rudy Mancuso, Carl McDowell (Ballers, The Babysitter), Chris Wylde (The Babysitter, When We First Met, The DUFF), David Theune (The Mad Ones), Punam Patel (Alone Together, Adam Ruins Everything), Michael Beach (Patriots Day), Jason Rogel (Kevin From Work), Lynn Collins (Manhunt: Unabomber, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Annabeth Gish (The X-Files, Halt and Catch Fire).

Zack Stentz wrote the film with Wonderland’s McG and Mary Viola producing, marks the 3rd Wonderland/Netflix partnership following The Babysitter and When We First Met. Also producing are Susan Solomon and Matt Smith of Circle of Confusion’s whose Brad Mendelsohn executive produces with Stentz, as well as Wonderland’s Steven Bello and Corey Marsh.
