Director Dennis Gansel’s Mechanic: Resurrection is less than a week away and it’s high time the promotional campaign picked up the pace some. The film is set to release in theaters on August 26 and stars Jason Statham in the returning role of the world’s best assassin following the 2011 remake of the 1972 action classic.
Arthur Bishop [Jason Statham] returns as the Mechanic in the sequel to the 2011 action thriller. When the deceitful actions of a cunning but beautiful woman [Jessica Alba] force him to return to the life he left behind, Bishop’s life is once again in danger as he has to complete an impossible list of assassinations of the most dangerous men in the world.
Lionsgate has a new clip from the movie now up and and running along with firey new red-band trailer exclusively from action star Jason Statham’s Facebook page which you can also view just beneath. Michelle Yeoh and Tommy Lee Jones also star.
