Mel Gibson Spies A Role In The New Action Adventure, EVERY OTHER WEEKEND

Goal Of The Dead and Antigang (a.k.a. The Sweeney: Paris) helmer Benjamin Rocher is looking toward a late 2016 start date for the new action adventure,  Every Other Weekend. For this, we have the latest report from THR confirming actor Mel Gibson in talks to join the upcoming action adventure from SND Films.

Written by Brandon and Curtis Birtell wrote the original script with revisions by Davis Moreau and Tad Safran, the film is described as a multi-generational story about a father who finds himself on a dangerous adventure with his son, an I.T. worker for the CIA who he’s convinced is a CIA field agent. Gibson is reportedly up for the role of a grandfather who himself happens to be a spy. Clement Miserez, Jean-Charles Levy and Peter Safran are producing, as are SND who will finance the picture.
Gibson currently stars in the newly released thriller, Blood Father which has opened to mixed reviews along with major approval from action fans. Other credits incurred are as helmer of the upcoming war drama, Hacksaw Ridge which opens on November 4 from Lionsgate, and as art director in Xiao Feng’s new war epic, The Bombing, which still awaits release.
