Well, look what we have here! It’s martial arts action superstar Michael Jai White front and center looking like a boss sporting a big ass machine gun for the current promo art of The Asylum’s latest venture into sci-fi titled Android Cop. It’s director Mark Atkins‘s newest picture from The Asylum and could be debuting on the SyFy channel in due time. And in case you’re wondering where all this is going, a synopsis is now available below.
SYNOPSIS:
In this futuristic, action-packed thriller, a cop and his robotic partner enter the Zone, a forbidden section of the city inhabited by a diseased stricken populace. Together, they discover the real reason everyone is sick, and attempt to stop the illness – with the help of the machine’s powerful technology and weaponry.
Android Cop stars White along with Randy Wayne, Charles S. Dutton, Larissa Vereza and Kadeem Hardison, and is produced by David Rimawi, David Michael Latt and Paul Bales. Presumably, we can expect to learn more about this one close to the end of the year or at the top of 2014. In the meantime, news of White‘s next film, Favela might come just sooner after hitting the American Film Market over the weekend.
