The popular anime adaption of Kohei Horikoshi’s shonen manga My Hero Academia has broken records with it’s films in the past. The third film installment in the series is likely set to gain even more accolades when Funimation brings the film to U.S. theatres in October following its Japan release earlier this month.
Tickets go on sale October 1st for all current dates. The United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland will have the film release on the 29th. Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa will start on the 28th. Later releases are planned for Scandinavia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru. Both English Subtitled and English Dubbed versions will be available for theatre goers.
This news comes shortly after the live-action adaption of the show by Legendary found it’s director.
My Hero Academia is currently in its fifth season, and is available to stream from Funimation in western territories. Check out some trailers for the film below and stay tuned for more action anime news!
