MY NAME: Don’t Miss The Latest Stills And Key Art For The New Korean Action Noir Coming In October


Par for the course for this Fall’s pending premieres will be My Name, directed by Kim Jin-min (Extracurricular). The official poster is already live and giving off its share of The Villainess vibes, so with a trailer still pending there’s even a little reason to get excited, and there are some stills for the new action noir as well which you can view in the photo line-up below.

Penned by Kim Va-da and starring Han So-hee (The World of the Married, Nevertheless) who reportedly performed the difficult action scenes herself according to Netflix, stars as Jiwoo, a woman who becomes a mole in the police force using an alias, in order to infiltrate the criminal underworld and avenge the death of her father. Also starring are Park Hee-soon (Revenger), Ahn Bo-hyun (JTBC’s Itaewon Class), Kim Sang-ho (Ordinary Person), Lee Hak-ju (Hit-And-Run Squad), and Jang Yull (Jo Pil-ho: The Dawning Rage).

“Director Kim Jin-min, with his keen instinct for suspense, weaves a rich and dramatic storyline with Jiwoo and the other fascinating characters played by Park Hee-soon and Ahn Bo-hyun.” said Netflix. “My Name promises to be a gratifying action noir film with a tightly woven plot and thrilling suspense.”
