Netflix’s new series, Daredevil, is just days away from its upcomimg premiere and it’s already receiving high marks from critics, which is quite telling. Sure, it’s not exactly a big screen event like the titles in its theatrical arm, but this may turn out to be a better proven platform to accommodate the overall shift in tone when it comes to the look, the story and the action also adds to the gratification of knowing that much like 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool, not every Marvel property has to be a family-friendly rehash, and it’s okay to get down and dirty, which is exactly the feeling given in all the trailers so far.
As such, there are two more trailers for the series, and yes, there is a danger to watching so many to the point where you start to feel like you’ve already seen something. Hopefully that’s not the case with Daredevil, because the footage here has tons of morsels to feed off of if you can’t get enough of what actors Charlie Cox and Vincent D’onofrio have in store as hero and villain in this seemingly impressive new series.
