I reckon at least a number of you out there will be staying home and tuning in to check out Extraction 2 on Netflix, and back to remind us all once more is a brand new trailer signaling, and further solidifying stunt professional-turned-director Sam Hargrave as a worthy add to the cadre of today’s best in action direction so far.
The sequel teams Hargrave once more with Marvel main Chris Hemsworth back in the role of Tyler Rake, and for that matter, back from the dead following the events of Hargrave’s 2020 hit based on Ande Parks’ “Ciudad”. Thus, the black ops mercenary is now tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.
Joe Russo penned the pic, and joins Anthony Russo via their AGBO banner as two of the film’s producers. Also starring are Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili.
