A new fifteen minute B-roll featurette is online ahead of the upcoming release of director Alan Taylor‘s Thor: The Dark World. The footage comes in light of news of a Marvel Universe live action show to arrive in 2014, with its own teaser to boot.
All this, on top of the next two phases to come should be more than satisfying for Marvel fans everywhere, especially fans of Thor, played by lead actor Chris Hemsworth who kept assured filmgoers earlier this week that he wasn’t going anywhere for a while, telling Daily News readers in London “I have another three that I’m contracted for, but if they continue to work and people want to see more, I’d be happy to continue on. I love playing this character and being a part of the Marvel world.”.
Thor: The Dark World opens in the U.K. at the end of the month, followed by its North American theatrical release on November 8. Check out the new B-roll featurette below, along with an additional featurette and four clips for the film.
SYNOPSIS:
One year after the events of The Avengers, Thor battles to save the Nine Realms from a mysterious enemy older than the universe itself. A primeval race led by Malekith, who is out for revenge, intends to plunge the universe into darkness. Confronted by an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot overcome, Thor must reunite with Jane Foster and set out on a dangerous journey that will force him to make the ultimate sacrifice.
