Actor and action filmmaker Dustin Nguyen makes his directorial debut in the upcoming domestic release of Once Upon A Time In Vietnam (a.k.a. Lua Phat) on August 22, 2013. With the film having earned the attention of distributors at the Cannes Film Festival back in May, promotion is now heavy and underway.
This includes new character posters on popcorn boxes, outdoor banners, public displays of the film’s featured costumes for the movie from designer and creator Bao Tranchi, and the official behind-the-scenes footage of the film currently circulating television networks in Vietnam. In additon to this, actress and co-star Veronica Ngo also shared the moment with a group of models for a spectacular photo shoot for Vietnamese fashion and beauty periodical, Dep Magazine, with on-hand photogragrapher Brandon Showers, who also shot the promotional posters for the movie.
