Coming Soon has unveiled a new teaser trailer for the upcoming film, Star Trek: Into Darkness.
The film is the second in a slate of new Star Trek films by director and co-producer J.J. Abrams, co-produced by Bryan Burk and written by co-producers Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof.
Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto are joined by a returning cast from the first film, and will also introduce Benedict Cumberbactch, Peter Weller and Alice Eve. The film is slated for an IMAX release on May 15, 2013 with a remaining theatrical release beginning on May 17.
SYNOPSIS:
After being called back home, the crew of the Enterprise find a seemingly unstoppable force which has attacked Starfleet and left Earth in chaos. Captain Kirk and the crew of theU.S.S. Enterprise are tasked with leading the deadly manhunt to capture the party responsible and settle an old score.
