NO MAN’S RIDGE: ‘Body Parts’ Director Sets Up Bigfoot-Themed Action Horror For Next Year, John Fallon To Star

No Man's Ridge
Eric Red (L) and John Fallon (R)

Actor and film-multihyphenate John Fallon is the first to be cast for next year’s Bigfoot-themed action/horror production, No Man’s Ridge. Eric Red, best known for directing searing thrillers like Body Parts with Jeff Fahey, and the 2008 Famke Janssen-led 100 Feet, is set to helm from his own script. Both will produce with cameras set to roll in the second half of 2019.

A team of five heavily-armed extreme hunters go into the remote Wyoming wilderness to bag Bigfoot, but find themselves out-manned against a relentless killing machine when they trespass on the Sasquatch’s turf.

Red’s credits also include penning memorable thrillers like the Katheryn Bigelow’s 1987 roving vampire Western, Near Dark, and the explosive psychological crime thriller, Blue Steel, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Ron Silver. The LA-based filmmaker also has several novels under his belt including “Don’t Stand So Close”, “The Guns Of Santa Sangre” and ” White Knuckle”, the latter with which Red is also in feature film development.

Fallon recently claimed festive reviews from his latest involvement as producer and writer on Ben Whimpey’s Sitges action short, The Proposal. With production set to move forward for his latest directorial outing next year on medieval action drama, Heretic, Fallon will also appear in Stu Stanton’s The Siege Of Robin Hood featuring Australian actor Paul Allica.
