The last several years have seen a huge uptick in the movie podcasting arena. That especially goes for Shaun Williams, best known as Fu For Thought through the following he’s grown since launching his podcast in 2019. Nowadays, and try as I have to find willing contributors with a knack for writing to share my platform with, it’s been an honor to welcome Shaun to Film Combat Syndicate as an author, having already posted a few pieces to get started.
In the meantime, Shaun’s biweekly podcast remains his foremost priority to which he’s just contributed his latest episode, this time covering 1990 action classic, No Retreat, No Surrender 3: Blood Brothers. Produced by Seasonal Film Corp and starring Loren Avedon, Keith Vitali and Rion Hunter, the film stands among the cadre of celebrated titles brandishing the look and crossover style and appeal melding East-meets-West in martial arts action.
Lucas Lo directed the non-linear threequel continuing the success of its predecessors, No Retreat, No Surrender and No Retreat, No Surrender 2: Raging Thunder. Avedon announced joint efforts with Vitali to develop and finance a follow-up to Blood Brothers, as of last December in a social media post.
