NOW YOU SEE ME 2 Sees A New International Trailer Full Of Tricks

Director Jon M. Chu has his highs and lows, and last year’s Jem And The Holograms was certainly one that hit rockbottom for the G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Step Up 2 and 3 helmer. That said, a film like Louis Leterrier’s 2013 heist thriller, Now You See Me, presented an epic story with a look glossy enough to bode well for the kind of muscle a Chu film could pack in, and it looks like he’s done so with the sequel, Now You See Me 2, hitting theaters this summer.

SYNOPSIS:

THE FOUR HORSEMEN return for their second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin-Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance. When the Horsemen are threatened into pulling off their most impossible heist yet, their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.

The first film was an impressive feat with plenty of twists and turns to catch and trick the eye, and so Chu’s latest may potentially do the same. Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Lizzy Caplan, Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman all star along with Jay Chou, Daniel Radcliffe and Michael Caine.
