NOWHERE GIRL: Watch Seino Nana's Trigger Go Off In The Latest Trailer

Tokyo Tribe, Torakage and Danger Dolls co-star, actress Seino Nana is on a roll this year as her latest, Nowhere Girl, is currently making the film festival rounds having already premiered for this year’s installment of the New York Asian Film Festival. Several teasers are also circulating but you can certainly catch a full trailer available below ahead of the film’s Japan release on July 25, and much to the credit of action fans, Seino’s got all the right moves to delight viewers in a role for a story that further cements female action movie stardom.

via NYAFF:

Ghost in the Shell director Mamoru Oshii’s latest live-action film “Tokyo Mukokuseki Shoujo” centers on Ai (Nana Seino, the all-around kicker and piece of smoking hotness from Tokyo Tribe), a student at an all-girls’ art high school. Her natural talent for art provokes the fury and envy of both the adults around her and her classmates. Bullying, mockery, and intolerable cruelty ensue: Ai stoically suffers but has nowhere to hide or run to. Her daily life becomes a war, which she slowly loses. But there’s more to the beautiful high school girl than meets the eye: she has a very specific set of skills, skills that make her a nightmare for bullies.

There’s depth here, and I love every spec of it. Screenings at Neuchatel in Switzerland, BiFan in South Korea and Fantasia in Montreal are also on deck. Check out the trailer below and be dazzled. Or haunted. Or thrilled. Whatever you fancy.
