ONE WAY: Travis Fimmel And Machine Gun Kelly Headline New January Action Thriller

Travis Fimmel (Warcraft, TV series Vikings) and Colson Baker – a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly (The Dirt, Project Power) are set to star in the new action-thriller One Way, from director Andrew Baird (Zone 414). Ben Conway penned the script with principal photography set to begin in January 2021.

In One Way, Freddy (Baker) goes on the run with a bag full of cash and cocaine after a robbery of his former crime boss goes wrong. With a potentially fatal wound, he slips onto a bus headed into the unrelenting California desert. With his boss and her henchmen hot on his heels and his life slipping through his fingers, Freddy is left with very few choices – there is only One Way to survive.

Tim Palmer, Martin Brennan, and Jib Polhemus are producing the film with Bill Grantham serving as executive producer. The film was developed with funding from Northern Ireland Screen and Screen Ireland.

Highland Film Group is handling worldwide sales which will launch at TIFF virtual market.

Baker recently won Best Alternative Video at the 2020 MTV VMAs with “Bloody Valentine, and his album, Tickets to My Downfall, will be released later this month. Fresh off of Jamie Foxx sci-fi, Project Power, his screen credits also include Lionsgate thriller Nerve with Emma Roberts and Dave Franco, and upcoming Wash Me in the River with Robert DeNiro and John Malkovich, The Last Son of Isaac LeMay with Sam Worthington, and Midnight in the Switchgrass with Megan Fox, Bruce Willis, and Emile Hirsch.

Fimmel can currently be seen in Ridley Scott’s Raised by Wolves for HBO Max. Next to his critically acclaimed role in History Channel’s Vikings and fantasy adventure Warcraft, he also stars in Maggie’s Plan from director Rebecca Miller and co-starring Greta Gerwig, Ethan Hawke and Julianne Moore, and Lean on Pete with Charlie Plummer, Steve Buscemi and Chloe Sevigny. He will also appear in Zone 414 alongside Guy Pearce and Matilda Lutz, action-thriller Die In A Gunfight with, Alexandra Daddario, Diego Boneta and El Tonto from writer/director Charlie Day.
