Well Go USA is still very much in the business of putting out some Jackie Chan whenever they can. And, that still very much includes his most recent sequel, Panda Plan 2: The Magical Tribe, which previously slated a release date that would have been tomorrow. Thus, the studio is pushing the film’s release date back a month in a new announcement which you can read below:
ALLEN, Texas (March 12, 2026) – Leading international and indie film distributor Well Go USA Entertainment has moved the North American theatrical release for PANDA PLAN 2: THE MAGICAL TRIBE to April 17th, 2026, previously scheduled for March 13th. The company acquired North American rights to the film from Mandarin Motion Pictures.
Martial arts legend Jackie Chan and cuddly panda, Hu Hu, are back for another wild ride in PANDA PLAN 2: THE MAGICAL TRIBE, the sequel to 2024’s Panda Plan. The film is directed by Derek Hui and stars Chan (Karate Kid: Legends, Rush Hour franchise), Li Ma (Successor), and Shan Qiao (Bath Buddy).
When lovable Panda Hu Hu and international superstar Jackie Chan stumble upon a hidden primitive tribe, Hu Hu is hailed as a “divine beast” believed to be the key to saving the tribe from disaster. As quirky warriors and magical leaders close in, Jackie must protect Hu Hu while uncovering the secrets of this mysterious land.
