Dan Trachtenberg was onto something after he made Prey. That film took audiences into a new, genuine direction for a franchise that managed to renew its freshness after going into so many absurd directions.
Nowadays, we have two new Predator movies on the horizon from the helmer, the second of which comes Predator: Badlands, for another live-action outing in the saga. The film is headlined by Elle Fanning and Samoan actor Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi for a story that ought to continue the momentum left from Trachtenberg’s last effort.
“Predator: Badlands,” which stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator (Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
