The week has commenced and principal photography is underway for Isaac Florentine’s Seized. His last film in directing capacity with action star Scott Adkins on Close Range turned out to be quite the less-than-impressive feat for some fans despite some solid performances on the action front, and so hopefully the duo who’ve been kicking it on set together for sixteen years now will finally find their footing together in a setting other than the prison confines of Boykaworld.
The news comes following Adkins’ arrival several days ago to Mexico announced via Instagram Story as production rose imminent where he’ll be joined with actor Mario Van Peebles whose role remains undisclosed. The British action star and actor has several more lined-up from this point on, including two pictures with Jesse Johnson for Triple Threat and Avengement, and Wilson Yip’s latest Donnie Yen starrer for Ip Man 4.

Premiere Entertainment Group (PEG), a Los Angeles-based sales, production and financing company, has announced the start of principal photography on the action film SEIZED. The film stars martial arts action star Scott Adkins and Mario Van Peebles.
Isaac Florentine is directing from a screenplay by Richard Lowry. Scott Adkins and Isaac have previously worked together on the UNDISPUTED and NINJA film franchises.
SEIZED follows a former special forces agent whose son has been kidnapped and has five hours to complete three missions if he wants to see his son alive again. His missions are to wipe out three dangerous crime syndicates.
Rafael Primorac of Arramis Films and Premiere’s Elias Axume are producing alongside executive producers Stuart Alson, David Coppa, Jeff Miller, Daniel Lisanti, and Peter Organ.
Matthew Helderman and Luke Taylor are also executive producers for BondIt Media Capital who provided financing.
Principal photography is taking place in Baja California.
