Trailer: Felix Chong’s PROJECT GUTENBERG Teases A Dangerous Craft With Explosive Consequences

Ten years in the making, director Felix Chong finally comes full circle with Project Gutenberg. The campaign has already begun in signature fashion with its earliest teaser brandishing an iconic tribute to one of starring actor Chow Yun-Fat’s most memorable scenes.

Chow is joined by fellow headliner Aaron Kwok with a script by Chong that tells of a painter recruited by Hong Kong police to help crack down on an elite global counterfitting ring. The organization is run by an elusive criminal mastermind known only to law enforcement agencies as “The Painter” whose true identity remains a mystery.

Regular Chong collaborator Alan Mak, serves as the film’s art director which ought to put some Overheard trilogy fans on alert if they’re keen. Actress Zhang Jingchu, and actors Alex Fong, Liu Kai-chi and Alien Sun also star for the film’s mainland release next month, and in Hong Kong the following October.
