Actor Yoshi Sudarso is the first official casting addition to Project H, a new and independent series endeavor from actor, stunt performer and filmmaker Aaron Toney.

The series, which hails from the newly-launched Halvon Corp. Entertainment and Global Forge Studios, signals the newest evolution of Throne, an action-packed and SFX-infused proof-of-concept shot in 2014 with Toney on both sides of the lens.

“This project is coming from the hearts of people who love the action genre, so you can bet there’s gonna be a lot of action in this.” says Sudarso in the announcement video published on Monday.

“…I’m really excited to introduce to you guys, my character. We’ve been building it for quite some time now, maybe a few months at least and – the weapons he gets to use and the powers that he has – I’m trying not to give it away too much, but I’m really excited about it!”

Project H formally launched on Indiegogo on December 28 in an announcement video hosted by Toney, whose mix of multi-hyphenate stunt and acting credits partly include a raft of Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, as well as Bunraku, Out Of The Furnace, Kubo And The Two Strings, Jesse V. Johnson’s The Debt Collector and Debt Collectors, as well as the upcoming premiere of Falcon And The Winter Soldier exclusively on Disney+ in 2021.

Toney will be joined by several people who’ve been involved with Project H since its Throne heydays, including Jason Sweat, Linda Jewell, and Julia Maggio on board the creative team. He and Sudarso have come up in similar circles upon Sudarso’s relocation from Jakarta to Los Angeles at the turn of the century.

Sudarso’s choice pursuit of stunts evidently convened him toward acting. His respective credits include Saban’s Power Rangers Dino Charge/HyperForce/Ninja Steel series, Mike Wiluan’s western thriller Buffalo Boys and Netflix sci-fi thriller Project Power, as well as Reka Wijaya’s upcoming Indonesian air force thriller, Sky Wolf, and Well Go USA’s The Paper Tigers from director Bao Tran.
