Here to remind you of their debut awesomeness with feature-length anime is Studio TRIGGER’s most recent U.S. outing, Promare. Hiroyuki Imaishi, the mind behind series hits like Gurren Lagaan and Kill La Kill directs the company’a first long form animation spectacle which since landed a home at GKids for its Fall rollout.
That release sets with a special two-day theatrical event on September 17 and 19, followed by an opening in select theaters on September 20. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves “Mad Burnish” appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team “Burning Rescue,” and Lio Fotia, the leader of “Mad Burnish” begins.
