Rebecca Ferguson Is Reportedly Signed For MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6

Paramount

Showbiz411 reportedly has it on good terms that actress Rebecca Ferguson will likely be reprising her role as Ilsa in the forthcoming production of the sixth Mission: Impossible film. The news comes within months since actor Tom Cruise confirmed a new movie was in development back in July in the wake of the film’s successful theatrical release with word of Christopher McQuarrie’s return to the director’s chair as of recent.

Ferguson contribued greatly to her role in the film which takes off initially as a wild card for lead character Ethan Hunt as he and his team faced off with a rogue terrorist organization of anti-spy mercenaries nearly equal in skill and scope. Moreover, the actress who is currently tackling director Tate Taylor’s thriller, The Girl On The Train, is also the first actress to come aboard the film with more information pending on the remainder of the cast.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation went on to earn more than $700 million dollars at the box office worldwide, and deservedly so. The sixth film remains without a title but will likely commence next year while Cruise also plots other upcoming titles, including the currently-filming Jack Reacher 2: Never Go Back, a hopeful Edge Of Tomorrow sequel and a reboot of The Mummy starring Sofia Boutella.
