ITN Distribution has stepped up and acquired North American rights to Alexander Nevsky’s new action-thriller, Red Prophecies for a select theatrical release on March 5. Nevsky is joined by Michael Madsen, Casper Van Dien, Eric Roberts, Oded Fehr and Stephen Baldwin from a script by Alexander Izotov.
The film centers on an American journalist working in Moscow wh9 finds himself embroiled in dangerous political games, the purpose of which is to destabilize the situation in Russia and then interfere with the holdings of the Presidential elections in the United Stares.
Nevsky also exec produced the film through his Hollywood Storm banner. ITN Distribution president Stuart Alson negotiated the deal along with Nevsky on behalf of the filmmakers.
