Director Lee Seung-won’s debut feature, Revenger, was off to a searing hot start last month with its teaser. The campaign has been steady with promo footage along with a training featurette that means absolute business in showcasing what starring actor Bruce Khan is capable of.
The official trailer is now out ahead of the film’s December 6, 2018 Korean release and I’m certain I’m not alone in wishing this film makes it stateside. Khan, best known for the 2005 cult hit, The Last Eve and his co-starring role in 2012 K-Drama, The Bridal Mask, plays a man who infiltrates a remote island prison to partake in a deadly game in order to find his family’s murderer.
Also starring are actor Park Hee-Soon (VIP), actress Yoon Jin-Seo (Heartbreak Hotel) and Kim In-Kwon (Too Hot To Die), packed in with a raft of Korean and Indonesian stunt talents partly introducing Indonesia’s own Pirhana Stunts into the fray.
