Say Hello To Jose!

Actor and martial artist Jose Manuel (El Testigo, Indie Guys, Made In Chinatown) has spent the last four years impressing the hell out of me on screen as one of the brightest students of his craft.

He’ll be making way with Pema Dhondup’s The Man From Kathmandu in November right here in New York City, for good meausure. In the meantime, expect to hear more from Manuel from time to time on our website as he shares and opines his thoughts on all things related to film.

Some of them can be read right here where he discusses Rambo: Last Blood, which just opened this weekend. Furthermore, his continued career and experience on set serves as a viable foundation for the wealth of knowledge he will be providing for this website in his opinions and analysis going forward.

Manuel joins following the addition of short-story writer and self-avowed “book dragon” Christina Ortega Phillips, who has done incredible work since coming aboard back in July, in addition to the oft co-contributorship of Cesar Alejandro Jr. via his own site, Filmsmash.com, and actor and filmmaker Alex Chung over in Toronto just in the last three years.

I still can’t believe this video. Jose himself edited it. And to think today could have been like any other Sunday.

Wow.
