SEEK: Peep The First Japanese Poster For Shane Kosugi’s Ninja-Fueled Action Debut

It’s only a matter of time now until an official release date is set in the U.S. for Shane Kosugi’s newest ninja actioner, Seek. For this, and per usual business practices, it also means Japan film audiences will get first commercial dibs on the new thriller following the film’s amazing film festival run in the past year, and just as Seek is already bound for a prospective sequel.

Based on a pre-existing shortfilm concept, Seek features actor Kansuke Asano who leads the cast for the story of an assassin, whose covert non-federal organization of ninjas becomes mired in criminal conspiracy when a ruthless and vengeful Yakuza leader sets his eyes on a highly explosive liquid now up for grabs. Seek also stars Mikako Yoshida, Tomohisa Yuge, and Miyu Ogawa, and Nahara, along with co-stars and fight and stunt coordinators Yasuaki Ishii and Yugo Ishii, and a sterling performance by Shane’s brother, Kane Kosugi as the main villain.

Believe me, or anyone else who has seen Seek and contributed favorably to its buzz, when I tell you that the ninja movie hype is real. You’re welcome to skim our reviews which you can find here, while Shane is now meeting the moment once more with the official Japanese teaser poster for Seek to signal the film’s regional release on July 31.
