Marking the launchpad of Monster Pictures Studios in association with Head Gear Films is Seven Snipers, the newest thriller from filmmaker Sandra Sciberras. Seven Snipers is now getting its push this week as the start of a genre slate between both labels, with an official trailer and poster ahead of an Australian release.
Sciberras directs from a screenplay by Andrew O’Keefe, featuring Radha Mitchell (Olympus Has Fallen, Rogue) as Kris Hendricks, a former elite sniper forced out of hiding when the ruthless warlord tracks her down. Once his captive, she must now draw on every skill she possesses to protect the daughter she has raised far from the violence of her past.
The film joins Mitchell with BAFTA winner and Academy Award-nominated actor Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight) who plays Kris’s captor and said warlord known as “The Dragon”. Rounding out the cast are Ioan Gruffudd (Harrow, Hornblower) and Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Them). Annabel Wolfe, AACTA winner Lee Tiger Halley, Charles Cottier, Damien Ryan, Bianca Wallace and Pacharo Mzembe.
Seven Snipers is produced by Sciberras along with Tristan Barr, Grant Hardie, Ian Kirk, Phil Hunt and Compton Ross.
