It’s rather refreshing to see actor Shin Hyun-jun still out and about years after first seeing his amazing performance in Bichunmoo: Warrior Of Virtue. The actor whose film credits also include Master KIMs, Shadowless Sword and Too Hot To Die now makes his return with action comedy, Handsome, from director Kim Dong-wook.
Shin stars as a detective whose discernible facial scar makes him look more like a gangster than anything. When he assists a fellow detective during a scuffle, it results in a near-fatal accident that ensues immediate surgery, with a procedure that proves to be more than life-changing when he awakens and sees his reflection for the first time with his scar noticeably missing.
