The search for the next most representing action star is never without a running engine. Director Ben Whimpey and screenwriter and producer John Fallon (The Shelter) have assuredly put the pedal to the metal this year and are staking their claim in actor and martial artist Marc Natoli for 80’s/90’s action nostalgia nod, The Proposal.
Whimpey and Fallon have already taken the necessary steps to pony up their latest project to the masses on a festival platform, with October 4 kicking off the 51st Sitges Film Festival in Catalonia, Spain. Tickets are currently available for its World Premiere therein at the Tramuntana Meliá Sitges Theatre on October 10, 2018 at 4:00PM.
When gun for hire and all around tough customer Mason Stone (Marc Natoli) takes his long time girlfriend Emma (Kahli Williams) out on the town with the intent of popping the big question, he finds his proposal plans rudely interrupted by a group of highly skilled assassins on his tail. What’s a man to do in this kind of situation? Only one thing: kick butt.
The new action thriller short was filmed this summer with the rising Aussie action star taking the lead as well as executive producing next to EP Antonio Raiola. Also starring are Neighbors actress Khali Williams with upcoming The Trigonal and star of The Siege Of Robin Hood, actor Paul Allica, actress Christina Walls and actor/stuntman Lincoln Barros (The Wheel).
