SLAYER: THE REPENTLESS KILLOGY Narrative Short And Concert Movie Thrashes With A Vengeance This November

Nearly forty years after making music history, thrash metal band, Slayer is teaming up with Trafalgar Releasing, Nuclear Blast Records and Prime Zero Productions for a one-night theatrical event, Slayer: The Repentless Killogy. The short is based on a trio of music videos stemming from the titular Repentless album – the band’s final studio album in 2015.

The short film and concert will be screened in over 1500 theaters worldwide exclusively on November 6, and is comprised of two parts: A trilogy of music videos – “You Against You,” “Repentless,” and “Pride in Prejudice” – woven into a single narrative shortfilm thriller written and directed by B.J. McDonnell, and the band’s live concert at the Los Angeles Forum on August 5, 2017, directed by Wayne Isham.

“When we set out to do these initial three videos,” said McDonnell, “our intention was to continue the saga of Slayer and Wyatt at some point down the line. But this is the band’s final album and world tour so this story, the three videos and the “Repentless” live concert at The Forum, is a perfect way to wrap up. This is the end of the monsters.”

In the short, Jason Trost (Beats of Rage, Hatchet III) plays Wyatt, a former Neo Nazi associated with a gang known as “The Hand Brotherhood,” whose signature mark was a bloody handprint left after a murder had taken place. The crime sparks what is described as an “uncompromising and unmissable” tale of “revenge, murder, bloodshed and retribution.”, designed expressly as the grisly story the band wanted to tell.

Also starring are Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk Til Dawn), Richard Speight, Jr. (Band of Brothers, Supernatural), Derek Mears (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Jessica Pimentel (Orange Is The New Black), Tyler Mane (X-Men, Halloween II), Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), Caroline Williams (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Sharknado 4), and Sean Whalen (Twister, The People Under The Stairs).

Songs to be featured as performed in the band’s 2017 concert include fan-favorites such as “South of Heaven,” “War Ensemble,” “Mandatory Suicide,” “Dead Skin Mask,” “Raining Blood,” and “Angel of Death.”.

Tickets are now on sale at slayer.film for the short which will also be available digitally and on Blu-ray the same week. Fans will also be able to purchase the concert’s soundtrack as both a two-disc vinyl and two CD packages at Nuclear Blast.
