BULLETS OF JUSTICE: Don’t Miss The Official Teaser For The New Sci-Fi Action Horror That’s Bound To Turn Heads
The concept of chimeric creation as a means of scientific advancement is a pretty understandable basis for some pretty batshit sci-fi. And even batshit, for such a term, may be undercutting the effect now seen sampled in the Indiegogo pitch trailer for Wrong Turn 6 and Re-Kill helmer Valeri Milev’s latest, Bullets Of Justice.
Andrzej Bartkowiak’s MAXIMUM IMPACT Settles For The Shameless Minimum
Filmmaker Andrzej Bartkowiak hasn’t been hugely heard of since the dismal-performing Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li. Going forward, the Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 The Grave helmer’s latest comeback, Maximum Impact, is also a testament of…well, a few things since then.
SILENCER: Johnny Messner Gets Loud With A Vengeance In The Official Trailer
Revving up for a September 2018 release from Cinedigm, the new thriller, Silencer, is making way online with a polished and promising official trailer. Johnny Messner (Weaponized) takes the spotlight as a retired hitman forced to resurrect his deadly skillset and fight a one-man war against his former employer in order to rescue his kidnapped step-daughter.
Timothy Woodward’s THE SILENCER Nabs A Fall VOD Release
Deadline’s Patrick Hipes is revealing the latest look at upcoming action thriller, The Silencer, reporting a September 4 VOD release from Cinedigm. Director Timothy Woodward Jr. reconvenes with actors Johnny Messner (Weaponized) and Danny Trejo (4Got10), telling of a retired hitman who must resurrect his skills to wage a one-man war against his former employer when his step-daughter is kidnapped.
Sean Mick wrote the film that teams Messner alongside former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Tito Ortiz opposite Trejo’s role partnering with that of Ortiz’s fellow former UFC cohort Chuck Liddell; both, who share several film credits apart from contact sports fighting, compete against one another in 2004 and 2006 with Liddell claiming the victor. Both have been rivals since, which may very well be a clear selling point for this film once the hype gets going beyond this point.
“Status Media delivers another potent picture — Silencer is an explosive actioner with strong production values, high dramatic stakes and the added bonus of pitting legendary MMA rivals, Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell, against one another,” said Yolanda Macias, Cinedigm’s EVP Acquisitions. “Timothy and his team are excellent partners, and we are thrilled to be working with them on Silencer.”

Olivier Gruner Goes BEYOND THE GAME In The Latest Trailer
If you happen to be noticing a resurgence of B-movie action cinema fandom as of late, no, it’s not all in your head. This is real, and there are several examples out there with titles as far back as 2010 with the release of Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables, and more and more of these films have been rolling out in some capacity ever since.
Clearly the niche hasn’t disappeared long since the 90’s era of B-movie action cinema glory took hold, and its clearly one that Blizhniy Boy (2007) trio, director Erken Lalgashev and writers J. Stephen Maunder and David Mitchell share a lineage in, as well as a shared interest as so expressed in their latest contribution, Beyond The Game. There aren’t any plot details, but the cast itself is littered with a who’s-who of action veterans with actor and martial artist Olivier Gruner as a psychologically-cracked solider in kill mode who becomes the subject of a survivalist reality show that goes all sorts of wrong, and you can pretty guess where it goes from there.
Save for its likely small-screen delivery, this one is definitely for the audience for whom it is intended. Make note of the names and faces in the trailer and behind-the-scenes featurette below and let the nostagia kick you in the face just once more!
