The first trailer for Nic Mathieu’s feature debut, Spectral, arrived a week ahead of its Netflix release. The marketing is pretty minimal here considering all we have is a trailer and maybe one or two images floating online and judging by the footage, I would have thought the push would have been a little heavier.
George Nolfi provided the script which sees a DARPA scientist escorted into a battle-scarred, war-torn city by a Special Ops team of Delta Force where they end up facing off with mysterious phantom aggressors who’ve been the cause of a series of inexplicable deaths. James Badge Dale, Emily Mortimer and Bruce Greenwood star.
Netflix is releasing the film on December 9. For this, it’s about time the trailer arrived as the date inched closer. Take a look and set the date!
